My work has been focused on the use of line, often forming an abstract grid formation. Seeing a tile wall hanging in Oaxaca inspired me to explore combining a variety of grids in one art work. It wasn’t until later that I realized that instead of an abstract grid, I was using a formal grid structure yet one that was still created by the usage of line.
