Statement: The sense of stillness envelops me as I walk through the forest. The scents and sounds reveal a complexity to that sense of stillness and I feel nourished.

As i complete each Variation on a Grid I am amazed by the excitement I feel as the essence of each piece unfolds.

Materials/Techniques: hand and shibori dyed cotton, tulle, wool coating fabric.Fusing, machine quilting,machine applique, hand tied.
