Statement: It's interesting to see the effect the background fabric has on the grid of shibori dyed fabric and how your eye is drawn to different aspects of those designs. Each Variation on a Grid used different primary colours to create the shibori design as well as a different quilting design on the background.

Materials/Techniques: hand and shibori dyed cotton, tulle, wool coating fabric.Fusing raw edge applique, machine quilting, hand tied.
