Statement: This exhibit gave me a chance to play with all the silks I had collected and to experiment with a variety of stitches.

Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed silk background, machine pieced, couching, machine and hand stitching, applique, machine quilted.

This piece was created for the FAN (Fibre Art Network) travelling exhibit “Fibrescapes”.
