Nicomekl River and Mud Bay

Statement: I often walk along the Nikomekl River so when I spend time by Mud Bay the changing colours of the water where the river meets the ocean always fascinates me. I’ve tried to capture that through a variety of stitches – both machine and hand.

Materials/Techniques:Commercial cottons, various threads, pieced, machine quilted, hand and machine embroidery stitches.
