There come times in one’s life when one needs to relax, take time for one’s self, slow down and play. The meditative process of cutting, sewing and pressing is often complemented by the creative process, being engaged choosing colour, value, line and shape leading one to a calmness  to approach what’s to come. 

Materials: Shibori parfait dyed  cotton, commercial cotton

Techniques: Shibori parfait dyeing,  machine stitched and  quilted on a domestic machine
