Statement: The transparent nature of jelly fish invokes a sense of magic and wonderment in my life. As a Pisces and one who enjoys the feel of moving through the water I love the way their shapes change constantly, pulsating as they propel themselves along. Their tentacles seem to reach out as if they had a life of their own, but in the end somehow remain connected to that transparency.
Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed cotton, assorted couching materials, polyester organza, wire and paint. Shibori, stamping, machine and hand applique, machine couching, wired and distorted yo-yos, machine quilted.
