Statement: The rusty red colour of the arbutus tree is striking, especially contrasted  against the summer sky and the changing colours of the ocean’s water.

Materials/Techniques: Hand dyed and commercial cotton fabrics, cheesecloth, tulle, Fused and machine applique, free motion quilting.
