Statement: Moving to a third floor condo has given me a different perspective of the sky. Evenings, especially, are a magical time. Every evening brings an array of beautiful colours shifting in the sky. Hints of coral, pink, mauve and shades of grey reform into wondrous combinations along with beautiful colours one can't even imagine until seen.

Process: Three different values were used to randomly piece strips in each block or in sets of blocks. As the fourth value was added I thought of my evenings watching the beautiful colours shifting in the sky.

Materials: Hand dyed and commercial cotton

Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted, fused machine applique
